Pebbles/Stones
During my first few months in Sixth Form we went on a trip to Rouche Court, Sculpture Park, where Peter-Randall Page & Richard Long's sculptures stood out to me. Whilst Researching i discovered Tessa Horrocks who also influenced my choices as you can see in my research boards on the main page. This was a long process of getting to my final piece, however i am proud of the hard work i put into this and what i have achieved. This project was partly inspired from the fact i live right on the beach, with these sort of pebbles presented so it was easy to collect photographs and observe these.
My final piece is made up from a stenciled background of stones, with sectioned stones on top, beginning with 3D mod rock, flowing into textured painted stones which are sewn around for structure, blended with sewn stones.
