This is my most recent and completed project based on my Grandad's Garden for the unit Outbuildings. My work for this project is mainly inspired by textilist Janet Brown and Chloe Rafferty. I chose my Grandad's garden as i wanted to incorporate his shed and greenhouse and what it meant to him. In my investigation i also looked at Olwyn Boweys work which was a fine art, artist unlike the other artists I've looked at. However my final piece turned out taking more inspiration from Janet Brown's work, following the cartoon-like effect, with a 2D distorted viewpoint  following a path round the garden, presenting it in sections.
